2013 European Collectables Open Day

The nearby streets and parking areas had lot of eye candy too.

2013 Liberty Motorsports Open Day

Liberty Motorsports was located at the other end of the street from California Porsches. Looked like smallest shop but best party as it was really crowded, managed only to get few iPhone shots:)

2013 California Porsches Open Day

All the five shops we visited during Saturday were in Costa Mesa, the three we visited in the evening were within few hundred meters from each other.

Noticed this 912 parked in the street, I love Slate Gray colour but I bet Jere loves the license plate equally much :)

2013 Carparc USA Open Day

One of the open days I noticed from the LA Toy & Literature related events section was the Carpac's event. They had handful of really early 911s in various stages of restoration. It was really cool to get to see that level of craftmanship up close.

It's just awesome how clean and organized everything is. The Wurth fasteners cabinet looks a bit different where I see most of my friends storing theirs :)

2013 Tru Speed Open Day

I have to admit that I wasn't aware of Tru Speed at all before our trip and it turned out to be professional Porsche service&maintenance, second hand car sales and Porsche Cup racing organization. The size of it all really blew us away.

My trusty Canon Digital Rebel reached the end of it's engineered life after 7 years so didn't have a chance to take as much photos as I would have liked, but I think it died happy :)

My favourite Porsches and the ones that I will never own are the 904 and 550 Spyder. Unbelievable to see both in the same premises.

View of the cars for sale area, 3.2 Carrera with or without the whale tail.

5-gauge 912 that was for sale, spent some time checking it out.

Good beer choice too!

2013 Willhoit Auto Restoration Open Day

What a coincidence about time and place! :) Our 2.5 week Winter vacation happened to start in Southern California on the classic Porsche event week. 14 Porsche shop open days and the Porsche swap meet in the Phoneix club in Anaheim plus the Toy&Literature Show in Hilton at LAX.
First stop on our agenda was the open day of Willhoit Auto Restoration on Friday Morning. I was really impressed about the premises and their 2132cc engine kits for 4-cyl Porsches.
